Former TV star, Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), and his stunt double/best friend, Cliff Booth (Pitt), try make it big in the film industry in the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age.
I’ve been a fan of Tarantino since I was 13, so of course I’m gonna check out any new film of his.
The film has received mostly positive reviews, with particular praise going to the performances and the 1960s period detail.
Once again, Tarantino knocks it out of the park! This movie is wild, tense, and funny as hell! There’s amazing period detail, fun behind the scenes of Hollywood of the era, and like any Tarantino film, a bitchin soundtrack. The performances are all around top notch, DiCaprio and Pitt have great chemistry, Margot Robbie proves her talents once again.
Should you see it? You like Quentin Tarantino films? You like period films? Movies about making movies? Then yes! See it!
