Jason Francesco Schwartzman (born June 26, 1980) is an American actor screenwriter, film producer, and musician. His parents are late producer John Schwartzman and actress Talia Shire, sister of Academy Award winning filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, and his cousins include Academy Award winning actor Nicolas Cage, filmmakers Sofia Coppola and Roman Coppola. Filmmaker Gia Coppola is the daughter of his late cousin, Gian-Carlo Coppola.

He is known for his frequent collaborations with Wes Anderson, such as Rushmore (1998), with Bill Murray; The Darjeeling Limited (2007), with Owen Wilson and Adrien Brody; the stop motion animated film, Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009), with the voices of George Clooney and Meryl Streep; Moonrise Kingdom (2012), with Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Bob Balaban, and Harvey Keitel; The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), with Ralph Fiennes, Tony Revlori, F. Murray Abraham, Jeff Goldblum, Willem Dafoe, and Saorise Ronan; and collaborating on the story to the stop motion animated film Isle of Dogs (2018).
