Stephan Elliott (born August 27, 1964) is an Australian film director and screenwriter. He made his directorial debut with Frauds (1993), with Phil Collins, Hugo Weaving, and Josephine Byrnes; followed by his breakout hit The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), with Terence Stamp, Weaving, Guy Pearce, and Bill Hunter.

His other films include Welcome to Woop Woop (1997), with Johnathon Schaech, Rod Taylor, Susie Porter, and Dee Smart; Eye of the Beholder (1999), with Ewan McGregor, Ashley Judd, Patrick Bergin, k.d. Lang, Jason Priestley, and Geneviève Bujold; Easy Virtue (2008), with Jessica Biel, Ben Barnes, Colin Firth, and Kristin Scott Thomas; A Few Best Men (2011), with Xavier Samuel, Kris Marshall, Kevin Bishop, Rebel Wilson, and Olivia Newton-John; and Swinging Safari (2018), with Pearce, Kylie Minogue, Radha Mitchell, Julian McMahon, Asher Keddie, and Jeremy Sims.
