Suspended bodyguard Michael Bryce (Reynolds) must once again team up with hitman Darius Kincaid (Jackson) and his wife, Sonia (Hayek), to stop a madman (Banderas) from launching a terror attack on Europe.

The movie has been met with some mixed to negative reception by critics, with some criticizing the broad humor. I myself was a big fan of the first movie, so naturally I was gonna give this one a look. And I’m glad I did! It may not be as good as The Hitman’s Bodyguard (2017), but few sequels ever live up to the predecessor. I wanted more Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson shenanigans and over the top action and that’s what I got. It was also nice to get more of Salma Hayek’s character, she and everyone else are clearly having fun. It’s also great to finally have Morgan Freeman and Jackson in a movie of ether. I say give this one a watch.
