Dan Trachtenberg (born May 11, 1981) is an American filmmaker and podcast host.[2] He made his feature film debut with 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016), with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher Jr. – earning him a Directors Guild of America Award nomination for Outstanding Directing – First-Time Feature Film.
He went on to direct and provide the story for three films in the Predator franchise, including Prey (2022), with Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro, Michelle Thrush, Stormee Kipp, Julian Black Antelope, and Bennett Taylor; and Predator: Badlands (2025), with Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi; as well as the animated film Predator: Killer of Killers (2025), with Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa, Rick Gonzalez, and Michael Biehn.
