He infiltrates Freedom Construction (‘Murica!), only to be easily subdued, with Taylor going Bond villain on his whole plan and how he’s gonna frame Sebastian for the whole thing. It also turns out that Neil Kennedy (his old boss, remember? Dude from M*A*S*H, that help?) was in cahoots with Taylor the whole time (WHAT A TWIST! But not really). So Taylor and Kennedy chain up Sebastian in a secluded log cabin (which already has a previous dead guy, plus a rotten apple that gets replaced with a fresh one, this never gets explained), while lady cop and several other cops get shot by Taylor’s men.

Turns out lady cop was wearing a bullet proof vest and survived (probably should’ve told the other cops to wear some!), and she somehow finds the cabin where Sebastian is chained up. They then end up an airplane hangar, where some CIA guys show up to arrest Sebastian. But lady cop stops them and they steal the helicopter to track to truck with the bomb in it. [I would like to point out that Vermont is over 7 hours away from DC. Again, I’m not sure if the movie is set there (it never really says) but the studio that made this is based there so I’m going with that. Despite this distance, it remains daytime what appears to be afternoon the whole time.]

Eventually they’re forced to land by a second helicopter being flown by CIA guys, but they don’t get to Sebastian in time as he steals a random guy’s car to chase down the truck with the bomb (lady cop doesn’t come along for reasons). He catches up, gets into a clunky fist fight (complete with obvious stunt man and random guy’s car exploding), but fails to stop them and falls into a random field (he’s the best!).

He lightly jogs to the site where the bomb is going to go off. He’s tackled by cops, but thankfully lady cop hitched a ride with a motorcyclist, who reveals that there is indeed a bomb on the truck! She says only Sebastian can disarm it (for some reason, guess the DC cops aren’t equipped with a bomb disposal unit). He simply yanks out a bunch of wires and that’s all that’s needed to stop the bomb. He then must run off again from the authorities (with all the briskness of a mall walker).

Some time later (no idea if it’s days or weeks, but I still don’t care), Taylor and Kennedy are on a plane that’s actually being flown by Sebastian. Instead of exposing them for their crimes, he just blows them up in the plane. He does this after jumping out of a plane and waving and mouthing “bye bye” at the explosion (complete with shitty green screen! YAY!). Then he parachuted to the ground and proceeds to hitchhike.

He gets a ride from a random old guy and ask to drive him to Delaware (for no particular reason), which the old guy agrees to (nothing better to do I guess), and they drive off and the movie finally ends on our “hero” staring at himself in a car mirror, with his usual smug smile. I guess he doesn’t have to worry that much about being tracked by the law anymore. Eh, so what if he was responsible for the assassination of an ambassador? At least the movie is over!
